2012 FINE ART & FAITH EXHIBIT
 

White Stone Gallery is holding a national open call to contemporary artists for the 2012 Fine Art & Faith Exhibit to be held at the gallery's location in Philadelphia, PA. The faith expressed in the submissions must be supported by the Bible. A selection of works from the 2012 Fine Art & Faith Exhibit will be featured on White Stone Gallery's website for one year. In addition, one artist will receive a year long contract for representation with White Stone Gallery.
 

All 2D works should be framed or gallery wrapped with no visible staples on sides. All 2D work must be completely prepared for hanging. All 3D work must be able to stand freely on the floor or freely on a podium that is 18 inches square.

ARTWORK SIZE
The artwork in their shipping materials must be able to fit through the gallery door (79 x 35 inches).

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
All image files should be high resolution quality, minimum 500px wide, file size must be under 10 mb and of the original work.

You may also submit your images on a CD. When submitting your images on a CD, label the CD with your name and phone number. CDs will not be returned.

ENTRY PROCESS
There are 5 steps to the entry process.

2. Fill in information about each artwork and upload your images.
3. Review
4. Submit
5. Payment

You may stop at any time and return to complete your entry simply by logging on again.

ENTRY FEE
Fee: $40 for up to 3 entries; $5 for each additional entry. Nonrefundable. There is an additional $10 late fee for late submissions received from 7/16/2011 12:00 am - 7/22/2011 11:59 pm. (Keep in mind if your entries are accepted into the exhibition, you will be responsible for shipping costs to/from the gallery.)

After submitting your entry online, you will see a button for paying by credit card with or without a PayPal account. You will also see instructions for paying by check or money order.

Your entry is not complete until payment has been received.

NOTIFICATION
The names of the accepted artists and their accepted pieces will be posted on the gallery's Fine Art & Faith exhibit news page on September 10, 2011. The status of the entries will not be discussed over the phone.

ACCEPTANCE
Artists whose works are accepted will need to ship their artwork to the gallery to arrive by December 16, 2011. There will be no exceptions. In order to insure the quality of the exhibition, accepted works may be withheld from the exhibition at the gallery's discretion. Accepted works must remain with the gallery for the duration of the exhibit.

SHIPPING
The artist is responsible for shipping the selected artwork to and from the gallery. The artwork should arrive with a return shipping label or a check or money order in the amount of return shipping. You may also call the gallery and place the return shipping amount on a credit card by December 16, 2011. If your work sells and there is nothing to ship back to you, the return shipping amount will be included with your commission.

SALES
A 50% commission will be retained by White Stone Gallery on all sales. Works will be sold at the price indicated on the entry form, unless changed through a mutual decision between the artist and the gallery.
